SNG warns Enugu Gov, issues 14-day ultimatum over state’s, revenues, allocations

 ABUJA: The Save Nigeria Group, SNG, has issued a 14-day ultimatum to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State within which to make public detailed account of monetary allocations and revenues accrued to the state’s coffers in the last two years Account details the civil society group was requesting for include the account of federal allocations to the state and local government, the federal government bailout fund, internally generated revenue, the Paris Club refund and all the monies accruing to the local government within the year under review. The National Executive Council, NEC, of SNG, in a statement in Abuja, said it took this position in view of avalanche of petitions forwarded to it by the people of Enugu State and other concerned Nigerians.
